Attraction - What to Do if You Don't Have Confidence

It has been said that "life is one long5B4 valley of sorrows, and then you die."

Well, that's one person's opinion, but it definitely is not mine. I have walked my share of valleys, but I've also been to the mountaintops, so I know firsthand that life offers more than troubles. A lot more.

I've found that the only people who stay a whole lifetime in the valley are those who choose (usually unknowingly) to remain there. But all of us are free to go at any time. What are we to do, however, if the only thing we've ever experienced is difficulty and pain? It can be very hard to believe in joy if it has always remained far outside what is possible for us.

That's what we use my ASSERT System for. We literally manufacture new experiences within our thoughts, then spend so much time in them that eventually they imprint on our inner minds. We actually begin to "live in a new world" where we synthesize better, happier, more successful experiences for ourselves.

Ever watch a toddler begin taking her first few steps? She's not entirely sure of what she's doing, so her efforts are wobbly. She falls a lot. But she keeps on trying, trying, and eventually, after weeks of trial and error, trying and falling and getting back up to try again, she walks with increasing confidence.

That's exactly what you'll be doing with new experiences when you start working with the Law of Attraction. Except that your "toddler phase" takes place largely within your mind. And as you 5B3mentally repeat those new, desirable experiences over and over, you'll gradually gain the confidence you need to begin doing the same actions in the real physical world.

You build confidence by repetition, just like toddlers do. Please pay attention here -- I did say repetition. That means you repeat the thought. And you repeat it. And you repeat it some more. And you keep on repeating it until you get the result you desire.

One of the biggest blocks to success is not failure. Failure is relatively rare. The real block to success is just giving up. Most people never give themselves the chance to fail. They usually give up on themselves and their dream long before failure is even possible.

I recommend making up your mind to keep repeating your dream, your goal, your desired thought, over and over till the end of time if necessary. Be a bulldog about this.

Patience and persistence are rare qualities; they are exactly as rare as success.
